Case Study Showcase
Palo Alto Public Library
In some ways, the renovation returns to the 1950’s vision of founding architect Edward Durell Stone. The living-room ambiance has been restored with colorful padded chairs, occasional tables and laptop carts. The freestanding fireplace is again a focal point. Additions such as group-study rooms, outdoor patios, conference room, teen area, and community room make this a vital space that attracts crowds of people.
